Terms and Conditions
By applying for Tata Varsity Pitch 2026, you hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:
GENERAL
Open to current registered students and graduates from 2023 onwards from any recognised Higher Education Institution or Further Education College in the United Kingdom
The business or business idea must be UK based, but can operate internationally
Consent for use of personal and company collateral, where applicable, in associated publicity
Agree to contact from Tata and/or associated companies for duration of competition
Have authority from business partners/co-founders to act as Lead Applicant
Abide by all competition rules and conditions
All entrants acknowledge that the decisions of the organisers in relation to judging and all aspects of delivery of the programme are final
Entry to Varsity Pitch is without charge. All entrants are liable for any costs they may incur in preparing their entry
Neither Tata or Centre for Entrepreneurs will accept any liability resulting from participation in the programme
WINNERS
Category Winners will confirm that Directors of their companies do not have any formal connection with Centre for Entrepreneurs (registered charity number 1140102) other than as winners of the Tata Varsity Pitch Competition or as participants
Category Winners will confirm no Directors are disqualified as a Director, or barred from owning or managing a company
Category Winners will confirm no Directors have been involved in or convicted of any fraudulent or criminal dealings and that no Directors have been made or declared bankrupt in the last 5 years
Category Winners will confirm prize money will be used to develop their business and will not be used for personal use or gain
Category Winners will confirm the business holds a UK bank account in their company name. NOTE: If you do not hold one already and win a cash prize, you will be required to set up a bank account in the company name before the prize money can be released
